Our First Guest for Jan. 15th

Adam Andretti

A 1997 graduate of Brownsburg High School and ITT Technical Institute.

There is a rich heritage in the name "Andretti." Like his father Aldo, his brother John, his Uncle Mario, and his cousin Michael, Adam Andretti is a racer. Not only was he blessed with the birthright, he was blessed with the talent and drive it takes to become a winner. Adam brings a proven track record of experience and success along with an intense desire to excel.

Adam began his racing career in 1995 driving in the miniature Motorsports Racing Association.  From there he progressed to Legend Cars and Shifter Karts.

In 1999-2000 he was a driving instructor for the Richard Petty Driving Experience. The next stop along the way was US Formula 3 and SCCA Touring Cars.  2002 found Adam driving in the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series. From 2003-2007 he was a  facilitator (putting the vehicle through it's paces to demonstrate why it is better than the "other guys") for Daimler-Chrysler, GM, and Volkswagen.

In the final event of the year at Chicagoland Speedway Adam made his debut in the Indy Pro Series.  His goal for 2008 is the championship.

Our Second Featured Guest

Mike Hull

Duties include overseeing the engineering and mechanical staff at the shop in Indianapolis as well as at the races for Target Chip Ganassi Racing.

A veteran of several open wheel series, he worked on the Arciero, Patrick and Hayhoe teams before joining Target Chip Ganassi Racing in 1992. He also has experience in Super Vees and Indy Lights with various drivers, including Jeff Andretti.

When Chip Ganassi is asked how his team managed to win five open wheel championships in nine years, his response always includes these two words: Mike Hull. While it takes an entire team effort to have such success, Hull is charged with organizing the process and keeping the large team focused. Focus is just one of the many positive traits that have made Hull one of Target Chip Ganassi Racing's most valuable team members.

Since Hull, the team's managing director, moved to team manager for Target Chip Ganassi Racing in 1996, the team has won four CART championships, one IRL championship, an Indy 500 and 50 races. Coincidence? Not according to the team's owner.
