Davey Hamilton

A true racer at heart.  Coming up through the Modifieds and Super Modifieds, Davey learned his craft well and won all along the way.  His Dad, Kenny, is still racing Modifieds and winning.

A two time runner-up in the IndyCar Series season points and a total of 4 times in the top 9 in points Davey has always put on a show.

After a serious accident at Texas in 2001 and 21 surgeries he made his return in 2007 and finished 9th.  In 2008 Davey struggled with handling, but brought it home in 14th.
While recovering from his accident Davey was one of the principle drivers of the 2-Seater Race Car for the Indy Racing Experience, which kept him in a car.

In addition to running a track with his Dad, Davey has now joined DHK Promotions, LLC, who have taken over promoting racing at the Terre Haute Action Track.  The trio are Brian Dorsett a former Major League ball player, Davey, driver analyst for IMS Radio Network, and Mike King, the host of the IMS Radio Network broadcasting the IndyCar events.
