Bill Vukovich
 
Born March 29, 1944, in Fresno, California,  Bill is a former driver in the championship car division of USAC and Cart series.
 
He was named the 1968 Indianapolis Rookie of the Year a result of his 7th place finish. Vukovich raced in the 1965-1982 seasons, with 158 combined career starts, including the Indianapolis 500 in 1968-1977, 1979-1980.  He finished in the top ten 85 times, with one victory in 1973 at Brooklyn.  He also had 23 National Midget Car victories in his career, and drove for part of his career in JC Agajanian's Midget Car.
 
During Bill's early short track career he amassed between 70-75 feature wins with many coming at Ascot Park Speedway where promoter JC Agajanian took notice and gave Bill his first ride at Indianapolis.
 
Bill is a 12 time Indy 500 veteran where he totaled 6 top 10 finishes 3 top 5's with a best of 2nd in 1973 driving an Offy Eagle.
 
In 1998 Bill joined his father by being inducted into the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame.
 
Bill and his wife Joyce have moved back to Indianapolis.

Steve Chassey
 
Born February 27, 1945, in Carmel, Indiana, Steve is a former driver in the CART Championship Car series. He raced in 9 seasons (1981, 1983-1989, and 1992), with 44 career starts, including the Indianapolis 500 in 1983, 1987, and 1988. He finished in the top ten 4 times, with his best finish in 5th position in 1981 at Watkins Glen International.He raced his last Indy 500 in 1988 for Gary Trout Motorsports finishing 24th.

Steve had a short track career that included 13 USAC Sprint Car wins as well as 2 Silver Crown victories.  In 1984 he won the Hoosier 100 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

During his short track career Steve held the track records for Dayton Speedway, Winchester Speedway and Salem Speedway.  These were the high banks tracks that many accomplished drivers tried to steer clear of.
 
Steve is now an executive in the insurance industry.
