Kyle Moyer, Team Manager for Andretti-Green Racing, a 1982 graduate of Monrovia High School in Monrovia, Indiana, donated the item. It was used on the car that Dario Franchitti flipped twice during the 2007 season.
Proceeds from the auction benefit the Monrovia High School class of 2011 in their prom and post-prom fund-raising efforts. With schools tightening their budgets each year, students and parents are charged with the responsibility of raising funds for the prom and post-prom. All of the proceeds will go toward their efforts.
